The focus of Fastloop’s Technology Team is to gain a deep technical understanding of our client’s business – conducting a deep analysis of information systems, architecture, and data – and from there implementing the technical strategy required to take their organization to the next level. The Technology team at Fastloop must quickly develop the solutions required to evolve our clients’ businesses towards big data strategies, cloud adoption, democratized analytics and digital acceleration across all areas of their organizations.
About the Opportunity
With a thorough understanding of information systems, cloud technologies, technical solutions and analytics this individual can design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, and dynamic solutions to drive major implementation projects from start to finish. As a member of Fastloop’s Cloud Services team, you will have the opportunity to work with world-class brands across North America and help them transition from siloed operating systems to connected data strategies centered around cloud (migrations and adoptions).
You will also deliver a wide range of Architecture tasks, from recommendations on Data Ingestion Strategies, Data Pipeline Architectures, DevOps, Security, Networking, Governance, and migration to cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service. This will extend to educating clients on how to adopt cloud into their IT strategies and helping maintain a cloud and analytics managed service offering.
You take pride in solving complex problems and have strong critical thinking for both looking at an organizations current state architecture as well as designing future state opportunities. You are comfortable leading discussions with clients from early analysis of concepts to delivering proof-of-concepts, and on to full transformative implementations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 2+ years working with Mid-Market and/or Large Enterprise Data and Architecture, preferrable in an operating or consulting capacity;
- 2+ years experience with Cloud Technologies (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure);
- Big Data experience, including data acquisition, storage, processing, management and governance;
- Completed Undergraduate degree in a related field, and any recognized professional certifications would be an asset;
- Experience with information / data systems and environments; Architecture design and implementation;
- Experience with containerization, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-a-service;
- Experience with Python or similar.
- Technical Skills – NoSQL, SQL, DevOps, Git(hub, lab, etc.), Terraform (or similar)
- Deep knowledge of “connected” data – APIs, data ingestion pipelines. Understanding and have working experience with variety of data formats like CSV, Avro, XML, JSON, etc.
- Advanced programmatic problem solving capabilities;
- Passion for new technologies, automation and how they can be deployed to solve real world challenges; and,
- Phenomenal problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
